Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), contributes to the development of its students through workshops, in addition to the learning activities it offers in-class. The table below shows recent workshops.

Radio, Television and Cinema Wednesday Workshops: Voiceover Workshop A Voice-over Workshop was held with the participation of voice-over artist Elif Yılmaz as part of the Wednesday Workshops event series organized by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Radio, Television and Cinema.
Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Hafızamızdaki Gizem: Sanatsal Gelişim Atölyesi The "Mystery in Our Memory" Artistic Development Workshop, organized by the Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) Dean of Students and led by Esra Büyükemir Karagöz, a lecturer in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, offered students a creative experience. The event took place on May 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, in the Student Center area of Block K, 17th floor.
Radio, Television and Cinema Wednesday Workshops: Sound Design Workshop The Sound Design Workshop, organized as part of the Wednesday Workshops event series, was attended by sound designer Batuhan Pehlivan. Pehlivan, who has participated in significant projects on digital platforms, shared his experiences with the students who participated in the workshop.
Radio, Television and Cinema Portre Fotoğrafçılığı Atölyesi Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan, frequently cited for his academic work as well as his industry-wide work and achievements, organized a "Portrait Photography Workshop" as part of the university's Artistic Development Activities, organized by the Dean of Students' Office, where students and faculty members meet weekly. The event took place on the 17th floor of Block J, a designated student area. Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan began the workshop by introducing cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment. He then explained the intricacies of framing, setting up lighting for portrait photography, and positioning the subject to students from both the field and beyond. The event, which attracted considerable interest from students, particularly those studying or interested in film, had the opportunity to explore their interests.
