Düşünmenin Gücü: Analitik Zekâ ile
İnovasyon

 Istanbul Gelişim University's Faculty of Fine Arts hosted an important event as part of its "Future Skills" project, which aims to develop students' critical skills in preparation for the business world of the future. The panel, titled "The Power of Thinking: Innovation with Analytical Intelligence," held on March 10, 2025, provided students with in-depth knowledge about analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation processes. Moderated by Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol (Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design), the event featured speakers Muhammed Reşit Kaplan and Mehmet Demir, both experts in entrepreneurship and academia. The event addressed the importance of analytical intelligence in decision-making processes, the role of innovation in the business world, and the intersection of technology and analytical thinking. During the panel, the speakers shared their knowledge and experiences on topics such as artificial intelligence, software technologies, blockchain, and analytical thinking in entrepreneurship.
 
Interior Architecture and Environmental Design
Profesyonel Hayattan Kadın Deneyimleri
The panel, moderated by  Selcen Nurcan Keskin Urmak, Lecturer and Deputy Chair of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, featured six female speakers, all experts in their respective fields: Gül Aslan, an Architect and Restoration Specialist; Göknur Ören Ersin, an Architect and Urban Design Specialist; Zeynep Deveer, an Interior Architect; İlayda Özdemir, an Interior Architect; Sueda Tüccaroğlu, an Interior Architect; and finally, Pınar Ergün, an Interior Architect. This event aimed to share the experiences of women in professional life and raise awareness in light of these experiences in the context of International Women's Day, March 8th. The event specifically addressed the challenges faced by women graduating from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and actively working in the sector, and how to overcome these challenges.

The "Barrier-Free Living Panel" was held online via Google Meet on Wednesday, March 29th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with participation from Turkish Kidney Foundation Renal Dietitian Dietitian Gökçen Efe Aydın, Canan Çam Yücel from the Barrier-Free Living Association, and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department Lecturer Afife Betül Büyük. Moderated by Communication and Design Department Head Dr. Lecturer Aslı Kasar, the panel focused generally on raising awareness about barrier-free living.

Kadın İstihdamı ve Kadının Toplumdaki Rolü The panel titled "Women's Employment and the Role of Women in Society," organized by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), took place online via Google Meet on Wednesday, March 8th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the participation of our graduate students. The panel, which included Graphic Design Department graduate Ayşe Aksu, Radio, Television and Cinema graduate Selin Sakman, and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design graduate Ruken Göngör, was moderated by Asst. Prof. Aslı Kasar, Department Chair of the Communication and Design Department. The panel, which covered the topics of women's employment and the role of women in society, was met with strong participation from students and faculty members.
