Prof. Gökçe Uzgören, the tour covered the Karaköy, Galata, Şişhane, İstiklal Avenue, and Pera route, aiming to help students interpret the city's multi-layered structure through historical continuity and ruptures.

The trip focuses on housing and gentrification, spatial segregation, displacement, and the politics of space, discussing how gentrification processes produce spatial division between social classes through theoretical and current examples.
