In the Wednesday Workshops organized by the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, voiceover artist Elif Yılmaz started the workshop by providing a historical background on how voiceover began, and shared information about the place of voiceover in the sector, the status of the voiceover market and the financial aspect of the job.
Yılmaz answered the questions in the workshop, which attracted great interest from the students, and provided guiding advice on what those interested in the voiceover sector should do and how to start working. Yılmaz, who also shared her own experiences, suggested a website where students can get freelance work.
Following the intense Q&A, Elif Yılmaz was presented with a plaque within the scope of the Audio Book Social Responsibility Project for the Visually Impaired and Wednesday Workshops that she participated in on the same day.
We would like to thank Elif Yılmaz for her participation and sharing her valuable information with us.
