RTC Department internal stakeholder meeting held with representative students
Istanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Radio, Television and Cinema Department held its internal stakeholder meeting with department representative students.
The Radio, Television and Cinema Department held its internal stakeholder meeting with class representatives to evaluate the 2023-2024 Academic Year and to plan for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
The meeting, chaired by Department Head Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan, was attended by Department Vice Head Asst. Prof. Rabiya Saltik Duvan, Res. Asst. Eda Türkay, Res. Asst. Okan Kırbacı, department second-year representative Şevval Duysak, department third-year representative Ahmet Tevhid Kuzu, department fourth-year representative Buse Namlı and department representative Melek Kardelen Alim.
Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan promised the students to evaluate the past year in turn and convey their demands for the new term. Şevval Duysak stated that they were generally satisfied with the department's facilities, the activities were interesting and they wanted similar activities to continue this year. Ahmet Tevhid Kuzu suggested that meetings such as going to the cinema and watching movies should be held with the department academics and students. It was decided to make plans with the Film Design Club on this issue. Buse Namlı asked about the current status of the equipment and stated that they requested that some problems be improved. It was decided that the equipment would be maintained before the term. Melek Kardelen Alim expressed general satisfaction and expressed that they wanted to take an active role in organizations such as symposiums and festivals this year.
Doğan thanked the students who participated and expressed their opinions and concluded the meeting by stating that they could send their requests, demands and complaints to them during the consultancy hours and via e-mail at any time during the process.
