 Res. Asst. Eda Türkay's short film project at the 20th Earlybird Film Festival!
The short film project Home Cooking, produced by Res. Asst. Eda Türkay, an academician at the Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, has been selected for the 20th Earlybird Film Festival.
Res. Asst. Eda Türkay from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema completed the Home Cooking project, which she produced, in June 2024. The project, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Izmir International Short Film Festival, will make its Eastern European regional premiere at the 20th Earlybird Film Festival held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Res. Asst. Eda Türkay stated that they were very happy as a team for their project to be included in the 20th Earlybird Film Festival, which is known as an important event that celebrates and exhibits the best student films from all over the world. Türkay added that the positive feedback the project received from the festivals, together with the director of the film, Ahmet Toğaç, turned this into motivation for new projects.

The 20th Earlybird Film Festival will take place in Sofia on November 1-5.
