The project, which is based on the "Istanbul" themed presentation assignments of the students within the scope of the "History of Art and Design" course, which is the compulsory common course of the Faculty of Fine Arts, aims to ensure that the cultural, artistic and architectural heritage of Istanbul, which reflects its unique historical past and urban identity, is adopted by young people, It has been developed for the purpose of interpreting and transferring it to the future.
Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture Environmental Design, Cinema and Television, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Fashion and Textile Design, consisting of undergraduate students in the 'Istanbul Team', is a team that has the ideal of being artistic and cultural oriented, has adopted the goal of achieving permanence by creating differences, fills the time, and strives to add value to itself and its environment. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pelin Aykut expressed her views on the project, “I believed that this endless material should be used and appropriately interpreted and conveyed by young people, based on the unique cultural, artistic and architectural heritage of the city of Istanbul. I have full confidence in my young friends with whom I set out, who believe in this project and want to be a part of it.
