Developed by Asst. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Erol, a faculty member of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), "Seramikcim – Ceramic Calculation and Layout Planning Software" has been registered as a computer program by the General Directorate of Copyrights of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.
Developed for use within the scope of architecture, interior architecture, and construction applications, Seramikcim serves as a digital tool that supports processes such as ceramic cladding planning, ceramic quantity takeoff, consumption calculation, waste analysis, and cladding layout optimization on 3D models. The software aims to contribute to conducting the calculation and planning processes required in bathroom design and various surface cladding applications in a more organized and efficient manner. Operating as a web-based tool, Seramikcim can be used via modern web browsers on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Bringing together design and implementation processes in a digital environment, Seramikcim, developed by Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, holds potential as a significant support tool, particularly in construction applications such as material usage, layout planning, and waste control.
