 About the 2023-2024 Academic Year Summer School!
All the details you need to know about the 2023-2024 academic year summer school are shared in the announcement.
Course Taking and Attendance Conditions for Our University Students in Summer Education

  • Course registrations for our university students will be conducted through OBIS.
  • Students should first select their courses via OBIS and then proceed with their payments.
  • Registrations of students who do not complete their payments by the end of the registration period will be considered invalid.
  • During the summer term, students can take courses from previous semesters that they have never taken, have not gained the right to take the exam for, have failed, or wish to retake to improve their cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
  • In the summer term, a student can take a maximum of 4 courses, including those taken from another Higher Education Institution.
  • Except for valid excuses accepted by the relevant Administrative Board (such as death, illness, accident), adding, dropping, and withdrawing from courses are not permitted in the summer term. Students who do not attend a course they have registered for will receive an FF grade for that course, regardless of their grade in the regular term.
  • Courses from upper classes cannot be taken during the summer term.

Conditions for Our University Students to Take Courses from Another Higher Education Institution in Summer Education

If a course cannot be offered during the summer term, it can be taken from another university, provided that the credit and content equivalency of the course is deemed appropriate by the department head, and the local credit is not less than the local credit of the relevant course, in accordance with the procedures and principles related to the summer term determined by the Senate, and with the decision of the relevant unit administrative board.

Students of Other Higher Education Institutions Taking Courses from Our University

Students who can provide proof of being enrolled at other higher education institutions can take courses offered in the university's summer term. Selected course registrations cannot be canceled. Students must apply to the Student Affairs Department in the Rectorate Building during the course registration dates with a document confirming acceptance from their university, a student certificate, and one photograph.
