“The Coldness in the Color of the Film is the Expression of the Dull and Boring Times We Live in”

Mustafa Çağatay Türkmen, who is the screenwriter and also the director of the movie, stated that he started to write the script of the movie when he was in the first grade, when the atmosphere of the pandemic prevailed all over the world. He stated that they carried out a team work and they thought for a long time about how to convey the issue they wanted to convey to the audience in the most accurate way.

The “Who Are You” team, which determined the elements that would best convey the film's troubles to the audience at the script stage, used cinematographic elements such as color, music and frames to serve the film. Turkmen described the coldness in the color palette of the film as an expression of the muffled and boring times.

The team, which succeeded in integrating all techniques into the film so that the audience could identify with the character, proved their success with the news of two selections they received as soon as they started their journey to the festival. Türkmen stated that they are excited about the success they have achieved and that they continue to work as a team on the next projects with the same high motivation.

We congratulate our students for their success and wish them more good news.
