What Should Be Considered When Choosing a University?
  • It should be questioned whether there are opportunities for Erasmus and similar foreign exchange programs at the selected school.
  • If the choice of school will be made in the city of residence, the proximity of the school to the house or the difficulty of transportation are important criteria for the student to have a healthy education process.
  • The studios of the school and its tendency towards scientific research are one of the important factors to be considered.
  • If there is an internship obligation in your branch, the opportunities provided by the school regarding internship should be examined.
  • Information about the seminars and congresses organized by the school should be obtained, and information should be taken about similar event opportunities that will contribute to cultural and personal development.
  • Before choosing a school, the student candidates should ask themself which profession they want, and choose a profession that they can continue in their life for a long time.
  • In order to be more successful, the students should choose a department that they can perform with great pleasure.
  • If possible, you should go and visit the branch you want to attend, in case the university is located on a different campus outside the known center.
  • It would be beneficial to meet and talk with the academic staff of the relevant department. By doing this, it is possible to have an idea about whether the education given reflects the requirements of the age apart from the theory.
  • Due to the university education does not only consist of theoretical education in the classroom environment, the social facilities, sports facilities, library and clubs of the school should also be investigated, these are very important for the personal development of the student.
