Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) 2022-2023 Fall Term Horizontal Transfer Applications have been concluded and the names of the students who are entitled to transfer have been announced. Particularly Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Departments came to the fore among the applications made.
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) adopts as a quality policy to provide education and training services at national and international quality standards, to implement a student-centered education approach, to implement continuous and sustainable improvement and development activities in all areas. New students continue to join our university in the new academic year, which will continue to be pursued with this understanding. 2022-2023 academic year fall semester transfer applications were made between 08 June 2022 - 31 August 2022. In the process of in-house, inter-institutional and international quotas, applications were received online with both GANO and Central Placement Score (Additional Article-1).
Participation in Applications Was Very Intensive
All departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts were welcomed with great interest in the applications for lateral transfer to be made for the 2022-2023 Fall Academic Year. A total of ninety-six students applied for lateral transfer to the Departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Eighty-four of the students who applied were approved and approved.
Interior Architecture Departments Are Among The Most Preferred Departments
Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) departments, which are among the most crowded departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts with the total number of students, were among the most preferred departments during the Horizontal Transfer Applications process. It was observed that the total number of students who applied to the relevant departments was fifty-two. Considering the interior architecture departments, the number of students applying on a departmental basis was reported as follows;
