The second phase of the “Effective Communication Education” social responsibility project, organized in cooperation with Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) and Sabanci Maturation Institute operating in Istanbul's Üsküdar District, to contribute to the production of institute students and support their development, was held in October 27 2022 with intense participation. In the project, which set out with the slogan of "Lifelong Learning", "feedback" training, which is one of the sine qua non of effective communication, was given.

“Each Feedback Opens Our Horizons and Directs Us To The Right Targets”

Project coordinator, Head of Communication and Design Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar, underlined that feedback, which can be expressed as “information flow or reaction between the receiver and the sender” in the most basic sense in education, opens our horizons and directs people to the right targets, and therefore, feedback is an indispensable element for effective communication. Asst. Prof .Dr. Aslı Kasar defined feedback as a way of dealing with any subject, situation or thought told by the person in the communication process and passing it through various mental processes. Stating that there is a one-way information flow in communication processes where feedback does not occur, and therefore an effective communication process cannot be mentioned, Kasar emphasized that both parties are included in the communication process thanks to the feedback.

Final Stage Persuasion and Body Language

It is planned to focus on "Persuasion and Body Language" in the final stage of Effective Communication Training, which is expected to be held on November 29, 2022. It is expected that the project will end with a certificate that will be presented to the participants participating in all three stages.
