 New Article by Prof. Dr. İsmet Çavuşoğlu has been Published!
Prof. Dr. İsmet Çavuşoğlu's article titled "Features of the Wallace Collection, a Family Museum in London" was published in ART-icle: Art and Design Magazine.
Professor Dr. İsmet Çavuşoğlu's article titled “Features of the Wallace Collection, a Family Museum in London”, is published biannually by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), which has the status of an International Academic Refereed Journal, ART/icle: Art It was published in the second issue of & Design Magazine.
 
One of the valuable faculty members of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Graphic Design Department, Prof. Dr. İsmet Çavuşoğlu opens the doors of a 120-year-old museum for researchers with his article titled "Features of the Wallace Collection, a Family Museum in London".
 
On “Features of the Wallace Collection, a Family Museum in London”
 
In his article, Çavuşoğlu talks about the formation processes of the Wallace Collection Museum in London and the general characteristics of the museum. The article he wrote by making use of the museum resources and the observations and examinations he made at the Wallace Collection Museum also includes an examination of the artifacts in the museum.
 
The museum is known as a private collection created by the Wallace Family to support art and artists. This collection sets an important example for the emancipation and continuity of art and artist by supporting art and artists in the historical process.
 
Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the museum in question is unique in the world. Stating that it is one of the most important family collections in the world, he said that it has a wider scope than many state painting-sculpture museums and that the museum is important in terms of spreading art. Noting that Wallace Collection London is as important to the world as it is to England, Çavuşoğlu said that it is a place that all art lovers should visit.
