A new article by Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, one of the faculty members of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Eng.), has been published.
The article titled "Damage Catalogue Software and the Role of Architecture & Architects: A Comprehensive Review" by Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, one of the faculty members of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Eng.) Departments was published in the special issue of the 9th Volume of the Journal of Architectural Sciences and Applications.
Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı made the following statements for his article titled “Damage Catalog Software and The Role of Architecture & Architects: A Comprehensive Review”:
“This scientific paper explores several aspects related to damage catalogue software while also highlighting the importance of including accurate architecture when analyzing structural damage. With modern architecture continuously evolving in complexity, employing specialized tools that can efficiently evaluate damages has become increasingly necessary. We investigate various available solutions while stressing the need for incorporating precise references from building designs within these systems as a means to ensure credible documentation. Our research findings demonstrate that integrating these references within such software aids data interpretation while creating bridges between experts working on diverse areas related to structural analysis/design.”
