 Information on Filling the Internship Book!

We discussed the key points that our students participating in the summer internships should pay attention to while filling out their internship journals for the 2022-2023 academic year at Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
We discussed the key points that our students participating in the summer internships should pay attention to while filling out their internship journals for the 2022-2023 academic year at Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
 
The rules to be observed and followed regarding the internship notebooks that our students from Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department will fill during their compulsory summer internship are listed below.
 
POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED WHILE FILLING IN INTERNSHIP BOOK
 
           -First of all, you can download the internship book from this link. When you click on the link, click on the “Mandatory Summer Internship Notebook” section.       

            -Use a blue ballpoint pen or fill it out in the computer environment while filling out the internship book. 
           
            -When filling out the information on the first page of the student's internship file, you should write down the class in which you are doing your internship in the summer term. The address and contact information of the workplace must be complete.
 
           -Name, surname, duty, date, signature and stamp information in the "certifying the document" section on the "registration slip" page must be filled in by the internship location officer.


            -“Registration slip” page consists of 3 parts;
 
- Part 1 will be filled by the Student.
- Part 2 is the part to be filled by the institution where the internship is held (The name, surname, duty, date, signature and stamp information in the "approving the document" section here must be filled in by the internship place official.
- Part 3 will be filled by the Internship commission (leave blank).


            -While completing the “Registration slip” page, tick the 1st Group Internship box if you are doing your first internship, and the 2nd Group Internship box if you are doing your second internship.
           

            - When filling out the “Trainee Student Attendance Tracking Schedule” (to be added to the end of the notebook) page, please exclude official holidays and Sundays. Complete the days. Do not scribble the days and make corrections on them. If you make a mistake, fill the page from the beginning. There should be a signature and stamp at the bottom of each page.          


            - Internship journals will be submitted in person, and the student must sign the "Summer Internship Journal Submission Form" as proof of delivery.         

            - Each page of the internship book must have the signature and stamp of the internship officer or the kitchen chef.
           

            -Working day pages for public holidays and Sundays should not be filled.
           

            - When filling in the working days, every work you do, such as the daily amount, should be written in detail. Short filled pages consisting of a few sentences will not be accepted, you will be asked to fill in again.
          

            -You can write down which kitchen you work in the subject of study (eg Patisserie, Hot kitchen).        


            - When submitting, print out in a transparent file or in a spiral notebook.
           

            -The internship book submissions should be made to Res. Asst. Emel Çirişoğlu or Res. Asst. Ayşe Seray Çetin, who are the Faculty Members of the Department. (Do not deliver notebooks on the desk, anywhere else, or to any other professor other than the department professors).
           

            - Submit the internship notebook within 1 month after your internship at the latest (All notebooks must be submitted before the new semester starts).


NOTE: The student is responsible for the internship notebooks left without signing the minutes.
