Radio, Television and Cinema Departmental Chair Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan was a guest at the talk titled “Library Conferences #7: How I Became a Director?”, the seventh of the Library Conference series organized by Istanbul Gelişim University Library. The talk, moderated by IGU Library and Documentation Director Ahmet Şenol Armağan, took place online via the Google Meet platform.

Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan shared with the audience how he decided to become a director, what he experienced on his journey to becoming a director, the gains of juggling his education, academic and sectoral careers, his film production processes and the difficulties he experienced during this process. Doğan, who explained to students and those who want to become directors what they need to do on this path based on his own experiences, emphasized that working hard and being devoted will make every path easier.
