 Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel's Work Takes Place in the International Exhibition!

After the 30th International Izak Lipovci Exhibition, the valuable works produced at the Aquila Art Workshop, which took place in the last week of June, were also exhibited at the Beltinci Art Gallery located in the Prekmurje Region of Slovenia. The work of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel, representing Turkey, was also included in the exhibition.
After the 30th International Izak Lipovci Exhibition, the valuable works produced at the Aquila Art Workshop, which took place in the last week of June, were also exhibited at the Beltinci Art Gallery located in the Prekmurje Region of Slovenia. The work of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel, representing Turkey, was also included in the exhibition.

One of the works produced within the scope of the 30th Izak Lipovci 2022 Art Workshop in the Society for the Advancement of Art Aquila Lipovci organization, which also includes the work of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel, a faculty member of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Graphic Design Department (GRA). The opening of the art exhibition was held at Beltinci Art Gallery. The thirtieth edition of the International Izak Lipovci Art Workshop, named after its founder Izidor Horvat Izak and traditionally held every year, was held this year. The work of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel and valuable works produced by different artists met with art lovers in the exhibition where the works of artists from various countries were exhibited.
 
Represented Turkey

The artists, who came together in Lipovci, first visited the exhibition of the works of the artists who participated in the 29th workshop at Beltinci Castle. The next day, they started to produce their works within the scope of the workshop and the works produced were exhibited in the village center of Lipovci. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel represented Turkey in the exhibition where the works of artists from various cities of Slovenia were exhibited.

Gabrijela Küzma, Director of Beltinci Public Tourism, Culture and Sports Institute, gave the opening speech and art historian Frank Obal also took part and gave a speech. Both speakers drew attention to the need for a permanent exhibition space, as traditional folk and musical arts, as well as visual arts, are rooted in the Beltinci District. Afterwards, Gabriel Tikvič, a harmonica artist from Beltinci Music School, took the stage as part of the organization. After the harmonica concert, the organizer, Jožica Jakob, went to the exhibition hall. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özel's work was also included in the exhibition, which includes valuable works.
