 Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel Represented Turkey in The International Arena!

Valuable works produced at the Aquila Art Workshop, held in the last week of June, came together at the 30th International Izak Lipovci Exhibition. The work of Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel, representing Turkey, was also included in the exhibition held in Lipovci Village in Beltinci Municipality in Prekmurje Region of Slovenia.
The work of Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel who is a faculty member of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Design Department, took part in the 30th International Izak Lipovci Art Exhibition held as part of the Aquila Art Workshop. The International Izak Lipovci Art Workshop, named after its founder Izidor Horvat Izak and traditionally held every year, was held between 27 June-1 July this year. The works of Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel and valuable works produced by different artists met with art lovers in the exhibition, which includes works by artists from various countries.

After the 30th International Izak Lipovci Art Workshop, organized in cooperation with the Aquila Lipovci Art Development Association, Lipovci Local Community, Beltinci Municipality and Beltinci Tourism and Culture Institute, the exhibition consisting of the works of its participants was opened with a ceremony at the Beltinci Gallery.

Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel Participated in The Exhibition Representing Turkey

After the Aquila Art Workshop traditionally held in Lipovci, Slovenia, the 30th Izak Lipovci Art Exhibition was held with the participation of seven different artists. Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel, representing Turkey, attended this event. Along with many social activities and sightseeing tours, the works created by the artists at the event were introduced to the audience with the exhibition held on July 1. It is expected that an exhibition of these works will be held at the Beltinci Art Center in the fall and a catalog of the exhibition will be published.

Works Inspired by The Natural And Historical Texture Of Lipovci Village Were Exhibited

In the organization, the touristic and cultural attractions of the region and the local cuisine were introduced to the participating artists. Painters socialized in Lipovci Village center and various places around it, while also producing works of art. The natural and historical texture of Lipovci Village inspired artists. 

We congratulate Asst. Prof. Ahmet Özel for his participation in the workshop and exhibition and wish him continued success.
