Within the scope of the "Artistic Development" events organized by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) and held every Tuesday, the event titled "Creating Mock-Ups with Le Corbuiser's Maison Domino" by Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu was held on December 26, 2023, between 12.00-13.00, at Gelişim Tower, Student Center, 17th floor.

“This event offers an opportunity to understand Le Corbusier's fundamental design principles and experience his minimalist and functional approach.”

Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu made the following statements about the event, which attracted great interest from students:

“Le Corbusier is considered one of the most influential architects of the 20th century and brought a contemporary vision to the world of modern architecture. Maison Domino is a building that represents his principles and understanding of modern architecture and was a great revolution in its time. Maison Domino was designed as a modular structure with elements such as concrete columns, floor plates, and freely positionable walls. This unique structure reflects the essence of architectural thought and design and has become a source of inspiration for architecture students and professionals. Le Corbusier's Maison Domino remains an important reference point in the architectural world for understanding contemporary architectural thought and observing progress in this field. Such events have great importance in keeping his legacy alive and passing it on to future generations."
