The primary goal of the departments of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Graphic Design, Cinema and Television, Communication Design, Interior Architecture, Fashion and Textile Design, which constitute the Faculty of Fine Arts, is to train equipped, creative, productive artists and designers and by increasing the artistic level of society, to contribute it reaching at universal scale. Our faculty aims to be able to carry out interdisciplinary studies with its academic staff specialized in their subjects, numerous artistic activities held annually, national and international exhibitions and symposiums.

 The approval of the international accreditation body AQAS has confirmed the compliance of our Faculty with the European standards and principles. Undergraduate students in our faculty who are successful in their programs do have the opportunity to obtain a second undergraduate diploma from another department within the faculty.  In addition, as part of the European Union’s student exchange program Erasmus + project, we support our students to be able to study at a university abroad. I believe that the educational environment of our faculty with the qualified academic staff, will play a very important role in their professional careers by opening new pathways for students.

We are determined to make our students from different geographies of the world feel the privilege of studying art in Istanbul, a city which  has deep impacts from every period of history. As we step into the spring term of the 2018-2019 academic year, we aim to continue our journey with the awareness of the values ​​and potential we have. I wish to spend a successful and productive time with all of our students.
