Climate Crisis and Youth Rights Discussed During the Session
Within the scope of the webinar, current issues such as the climate crisis, climate justice, and youth rights were discussed from the perspective of young people. Throughout the event, participants exchanged ideas on the social impacts of environmental issues, the role of youth in decision-making processes, and collective solutions that can be developed in response to the climate crisis.

Participants emphasized that young people should not remain merely observers in environmental and social matters, but should instead become active contributors to solution-oriented processes. In discussions regarding the potential future impacts of the climate crisis, the importance of increasing the visibility of youth within rights-based advocacy was highlighted.

Experiences and Perspectives of Young People Shared
Throughout the event, speakers shared examples from their own experiences and reflected on the roles young people can undertake in the fields of social responsibility and rights advocacy. Thanks to the interactive structure of the webinar, participants also had the opportunity to share their views and ask questions to the speakers.

It was noted that Batuhan Aysan particularly addressed issues related to youth participation in social impact production processes and efforts to raise social awareness. His contribution to the event was described as an important example of university students taking active roles in the fields of social responsibility, human rights, and sustainability.

The webinar organized within the Amnesty International Türkiye Human Rights Education Program aimed to contribute to young people’s awareness of climate justice and human rights issues. It was stated that the discussions and exchanges during the event sought to strengthen solidarity among young people and promote a rights-based perspective on environmental issues.
