Department orientation meeting was held by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Tr&Eng) Departments.

The department orientation, organized jointly by the Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture Environmental Design (Tr&Eng) Departments, took place on 16 October at 16:00 at the Firnas Auditorium. The orientation started with the opening speech of Parvin Hedirai, head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Tr&Eng). After the department head Asst. Prof. Dr. Parvin Heidari's wishes for success for the students and academic staff for the 2022-2023 academic year, the orientation continued with the introduction of the department by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Deputy Head Lecturer Esra Büyükemir Karagöz, department research assistants Res. Asst. Gökçe Uzgören, Res. Asst. Merve Karadaban and Res. Asst. Tuğçe Öztürk introduced themselves and gave information to the department students about the department. Afterwards, the Turkish session ended with the introduction of the department by the Deputy Head of the Department of Interior Architecture, Lecturer Minel Kurtuluş, and the department research assistants Res. Asst. Eliz Mutlu and Res. Asst. Başak Lâle introducing themselves and giving information to the students about the department. After the introduction of the Interior Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Departments, Deputy Head of Department Lecturer İbrahim Erol and Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı introduced the department in English for the students of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English).
Students Are Increasingly Aware
Emphasizing that orientation meetings are very important for students' adaptation to university education, Erol said, "I can say that our students who attend the meeting become more conscious about university education and are aware of the opportunities offered by the university." He underlined that the students are excited and conscious for the university. Department research assistant Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, who introduced himself to the department students and answered the messages from the students about the department. He said, “We are very excited and happy. As a department established last year, we are very pleased with the increase in the number of our students and the interest of our students," by adding that he was happy with the participation of the students and the questions received.
