Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı Defended his Master's Thesis!
Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, a lecturer at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English), successfully completed his master's thesis titled "An Investigation of The Differences in Earthquake Resistance Policies in Turkey and Japan Through Architecture Ethics".
Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı, a lecturer at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English), successfully completed his master's thesis titled "An Investigation of The Differences in Earthquake Resistance Policies in Turkey and Japan Through Architecture Ethics".
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department Research Assistant Mustafa Dallı's defense jury of the thesis titled "An Investigation of The Differences in Earthquake Resistance Policies in Turkey and Japan Through Architecture Ethics" at Gazi University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture (English Program), was held under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asena Soyluk.
Gazi University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asena Soyluk, Gazi University Architecture Department Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yeşim İlerisoy and Giresun University faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Baran took part in the defense jury held on 27 December 2022.
The thesis defense started with Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı's presentation of the thesis. After the thesis presentation, the members of the jury presented their suggestions and criticisms in turn, and the members met among themselves to make the final decision. As a result of the meeting, the chairman of the jury, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yeşim İlerisoy, announced that the thesis study was unanimously successful.
“A Great Pride and Happiness”
Speaking about his thesis, Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı said, “In my thesis that I completed, I discussed the relationship between the concepts of disaster-architecture-professional ethics. He underlined the importance of his work and his expectations by saying, "I hope that my work, which I have evaluated on the basis of the earthquake disaster that our country has unfortunately faced many times in its history, will bring different perspectives to the disaster, especially in countries like our country, which are in the earthquake zone."
