 Our Academic Staff is Expanding!


Lecturer Enver Tatlısu joined the academic staff of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department.


Lecturer Enver Tatlısu joined the academic staff of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department.

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) at the Faculty of Fine Arts continues to expand its academic staff. After Lecturer Büşra Babacan was included in the team in the past days, Lectuer Enver Tatlısu has joined the team now. Lecturer Enver Tatlısu, who is included in the academic staff, will meet with students at the counseling hours determined between 14.00 and 16.00 on Tuesdays during the Fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

Lecturer Enver Tatlısu, who completed his undergraduate education at Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Industrial Design in 2010, completed his master's degree at Istanbul Technical University, Industrial Design Program in 2015. Tatlısu, who continues his doctoral education and research in the Industrial Design Program of Istanbul Technical University, has a thesis on the reorganization of product-user relations in a way that can cope with the economic, social and environmental problems of today's world through contemporary design approaches such as speculative design, critical design and participatory design. Tatlısu continues his work in this field as a design researcher, educator and practitioner.

Tatlısu, who has been in the academy for many years, said, "I am very pleased to continue my profession and university life, which I am passionately connected to, at the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) at Istanbul Gelişim University", and he is very pleased to have the opportunity to meet the students with the start of the semester. He stated that he heard the students and that the interested, curious and excited states of the students were a great source of motivation. He underlined that he would enjoy working with his colleagues, each of whom is an expert in their own field, devoted to qualified education and research, and students who are aware of the requirements of the age. Tatlısu expressed his excitement by saying "I would like to thank the whole Istanbul Gelisim University family for their warm and friendly welcome and the opportunity to work in this beautiful environment".
