Our Academic Staff ıs Expanding!
Lecturer Büşra Babacan joined the academic staff of Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture.
Lecturer Büşra Babacan joined the academic staff of Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture.
The Department of Interior Architecture, which is the third most crowded department in terms of student numbers, continues to expand its academic staff in the Faculty of Fine Arts. After Lecturer Büşra Babacan was included in the staff, the Department of Interior Architecture started to progress rapidly towards the goal of accommodating faculty members with different fields of expertise, with a teaching staff that reached 12 teaching staff. Apart from the department classes, Babacan will also meet with the students during the counseling hours determined between 09:30 and 11:30 on Fridays.

Babacan, who started her duty as of the 2022-2023 Fall Term, stated that learning in the field of architecture, which is always open to change and development, is one of the indispensable of this profession as a never ending process. She also added that while starting her new job, she was very excited to be involved in teaching the profession with his desire to learn. Emphasizing that she completed her undergraduate education at Istanbul Gelişim University, Babacan stated that she is happy to continue my academic studies as a part of Istanbul Gelişim University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and to be together with students who are the interior architects and designers of the future to share and increase knowledge.
Completed her Undergraduate Education at Istanbul Gelişim University
After completing her undergraduate education at Istanbul Gelişim University, Department of Architecture, Büşra Babacan started her graduate education at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University. Her article titled "Adaptive Reuse of Industrial Buildings Within The Framework of Sustainability and The Concept of Loft", which she prepared during his graduate education, was published in the journal Research & Reviews in Architecture, Planning and Design.
Babacan completed his master's degree by presenting her thesis titled "Contemporary Housing Design Approaches Compatible with Climate in Hot-Dry Climate Regions and Examination of Application Examples".
