 Lect. Dr. Enver Tatlısu Participated in the R&G and Innovation Coordination Meeting as Table Coordinator




Lect. Dr. Enver Tatlısu participated as a table coordinator at the R&G and Innovation Coordination meeting held at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Industrial Design and Prototyping Center, which was implemented within the framework of an EU-supported IPA Project. The meeting held at the center under the leadership of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, where the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the European Union Delegation to Turkey, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) and the Industrial Designers Professional Association (ETMK) participated as project partners, was attended by Istanbul and surrounding provinces. R&G representatives of more than 20 operating companies attended.

The meeting started with the presentation about the IDEA4ISTANBUL project and the ISO ETP implemented within the scope of the project by the general manager of the center, Bilal Çinici, and the coordination tables consisting of R&G representatives of the companies exchanged ideas about the current situation of the center and the road map planned to be followed in the future. The ideas that emerged about the future of the center and its innovation potential at the coordination tables focusing on topics such as “Collaborative interaction”, “Limits of 3D Printing”, “Global Advantage for SMEs and Designers”, “Building Bridges Between Stakeholders” were presented to others in short presentations at the end of the meeting. It was shared with the participants and center administrators. Stating that the meeting held with the participation of representatives from different areas of expertise and work areas of leading companies in R&D and innovation was extremely productive, Tatlısu said that this center, which is unique in Istanbul, is of great importance for the development of the design ecosystem in the region.
