 Final jury session of the graduation project held by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English)


Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English), held the final jury session for graduation project students on June 16, 2025, as part of the 2024–2025 Spring Semester.


As part of the 2024–2025 academic year Spring Semester, the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), held its final jury session for graduation project students on June 16, 2025. The jury consisted of Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu, Lecturer Cansu Sözer, and Research Assistant Mustafa Dallı. During the session, students presented the hotel projects they developed throughout the semester, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and user experience criteria.

Students of the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department showcased their projects—developed with significant effort and creativity—to the jury. Each project was evaluated in detail based on its individual concept. The final jury session thoroughly assessed the students’ technical competencies, design coherence, and presentation skills.

In their projects, students emphasized key criteria such as spatial organization, material selection, sensitivity to environmental factors, user-centered design, and sustainability. Alongside creative ideas, practical implementation solutions and attention to technical detail were also appreciated by the jury members. Constructive feedback was provided to each student to help further their professional development.

This evaluation process offered students not only the chance to complete an important academic milestone but also a valuable platform to refine their design visions and express their unique identities as they prepare for professional life.

Jury members Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, Lecturer Serenay İnceoğlu, Lecturer Cansu Sözer, and Res. Asst. Mustafa Dallı expressed their satisfaction with the students’ dedication and enthusiasm, and extended their gratitude to all participants. They emphasized that such evaluation sessions are an integral part of the department’s mission to train well-qualified professionals in the field.
