Asst. Prof. Halise Betül Bulut completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Yıldız Technical University. She completed her doctoral education at a foundation university and was awarded her PhD degree in 2024. Her doctoral dissertation, titled “‘Sector’ as a Design Tool: ‘SAR’ Methodology Applied to TOKİ’s Plan Typology,” offers an original contribution by addressing housing planning processes through an analytical and methodological approach and by re-evaluating spatial design tools in mass housing production.
With academic interests including housing design, spatial analysis methods, plan typologies, and design methodologies, Asst. Prof. Halise Betül Bulut is expected to make significant contributions to the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English Program) through her teaching and research activities.
