As part of the academic and administrative restructuring efforts carried out within Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), new appointments have been made to the management team of the Center for Environmental, Urban, and Earth Sciences Application and Research. The appointments made by the IGU Rectorate aim to increase the center's effectiveness in its areas of activity. Within this scope, Asst. Prof. Gökçe Uzgören, Assistant Professor from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, has been appointed as Assistant Manager and Administrative Board Member of the IGU Center for Environmental, Urban, and Earth Sciences Application and Research, while Asst. Prof. İbrahim Erol, Assistant Professor, has been appointed as a Administrative Board Member of the center.
It is expected that our faculty members, who will work within the center as an interdisciplinary platform, will contribute to the center's projects and management processes with their academic expertise, focusing on sustainable environmental policies and urban transformation strategies.
