The fair was held at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center between 22-26 March; It brought together nearly 400 foreign purchasing professionals from 58 countries, especially Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Qatar, the United Kingdom and Greece, with local business partners through hybrid methods in Istanbul. Yapı - Turkeybuild Istanbul, the most effective and longest-running cooperation and information-sharing platform of the building, architecture, construction materials, and technologies sectors in the region, has determined the road map of the new era for the building and construction materials industry with its events.
“Architectural Master Classes” Led by Master Architects
On the second day of the fair, Building Master Class - Architectural Master Classes were held under "Environmental Awareness and Architectural Design" and "Inter-Scale Parametric Design". At the event with a limited quota, participants, accompanied by master architects Durmuş Dilekci, Şule Ertürk, Büşra Al, Volkan Taşkın, and Cenk Dereli, had the opportunity to chat about sustainable architecture, energy-efficient building materials, environmentally friendly projects, and innovative design and technology trends. At the same time, also They visited stands where they learned about applied products on-site.
Lect. İbrahim Erol expressed his feelings and thoughts about the Construction Fair and the technical tour as follows:
“While students had the chance to see closely the building materials they learned within the scope of the course at the fair, they came together with industry representatives and learned more about the materials. Students had the chance to access catalogs, technical drawings, and product samples for many different product groups such as insulation materials, door-window systems, facade cladding systems, and flooring materials on the same day. "In addition, they had the opportunity to closely follow the trends of the construction industry by seeing new products and technologies whose R&D phase has just been completed at the fair."
