Organized under the auspices of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and coordinated by the Institute of Population and Social Research at Marmara University, the program is supported by leading Turkish universities including METU, ITU, and Boğaziçi University. It aims to bridge current research in artificial intelligence with the social sciences, fostering an interdisciplinary learning ecosystem.
The program focuses on key themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Digital Humanities, and Data Visualization, and brings together scholars from various universities across Turkey. Participants engage in intensive training on data-driven research methods, ethical discussions, and the cultural implications of digital transformation.
Dr. Cansever Bayhan will take part in the “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Humanities” module, where she will explore how digital technologies reshape art, design, and culture. Her research will address how AI-driven creative practices transform notions of creativity, representation, and subjectivity.
Commenting on her participation, Dr. Cansever Bayhan stated:
“Artificial intelligence is not merely a technological revolution—it is a cultural turning point that redefines how humans think, feel, and create. This program represents a crucial step toward the advancement of digital humanities in Turkey.”
Held for the first time this year, the Data Analysis School stands out as a pioneering initiative aiming to enhance AI literacy in the social sciences across Turkey.
