 The Fifteenth of the Stars in Vision Event Series was Held under the Title of Acting in Turkish Cinema!


It was performed under the title of acting in Turkish Cinema with the participation of Hale Özbaba Küçümen.


The Stars in Vision event series organized by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Radio, Television, and Cinema Department was held for the fifteenth time. Having received his expertise in Communication Sciences and Applied Communications and currently working on the academic staff at Başkent University. The event, which was held with the participation of Hale Özbaba Küçümen, was hosted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız Ongar.
 
The event, which was organized online with the title of acting in Turkish Cinema, attracted the attention of the students of the department. prof. Dr. Hale Özbaba Küçümen focused on the acting methods that have developed from past to present in Turkish Cinema. Küçümen, who discussed Turkish Cinema from time to time and talked about the acting criteria that were popular at that time, answered the questions from the students. The conversation, in which asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker shared his knowledge and experience in acting and was included in the conversation, which was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Radife Akyıldız found direction with Ongar's questions. In the conversation, which was like a conversation, discussions were held on topics such as how the actor should relate to the script and the actor's share in the relationship between the actor and the audience. The sociological reasons for the changing understanding of acting between periods were emphasized. Acting transitions between theatre, TV series, and film were also mentioned.

The Stars in Vision series, which was started by the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department during the pandemic period, will continue to continue its face-to-face and online activities in the new academic year.
