RTC department took part in the proud event!
Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltik Duvan and Res. Asst. Eda Türkay from the Department of Radio and Television and Cinema, TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program was presented to the teams of supported projects.
Asst. Prof. Rabiya Saltik Duvan and Res. Asst. Eda Türkay from the Department of Radio and Television and Cinema received two separate projects and received the certificates of appreciation in the Proud Launch.
TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program Project, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltik Duvan wall, titled “The Evaluation of Chatgpt on the Branch of Opportunities and Threats as an Artificial Intelligence Model” conducted by the department students Reyhan Eftelya Tour and Beyzanur Yüksel was completed. The project is centered on the Chatbot models that rise in the 21st century. These models, which are used in many fields from websites to social media platforms and aim to interact with users in a natural language and are strengthened by artificial intelligence, can also bring ethical and safety problems. In this context, the aim of the project is to examine the opportunities and dangers of an artificial intelligence model such as chatgpt.
TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program Project, which was conducted by Hilal Tatar, has been completed by Res. Asst. Eda Türkay. With the project, psychology and media disciplines were brought together and a comparative report was presented by examining psychology -based productions produced in both traditional media and digital media; This report was developed together with psychologists and psychiatrists who are experts in their fields, and a scientific output was put forward.
Completed projects were presented with certificates of appreciation at the İGÜ Proud Launch.
