Graduation Projects General Evaluation Meeting Held!
The project evaluation meetings of the senior students of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Radio, Television and Cinema Department have come to an end.
Senior students of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema prepare their projects for shooting by presenting them to the board every year in the fall semester, and complete their projects by going on set every year in the spring semester. Students, who are required to submit their projects and be successful in order to graduate, first submit their synopses and scenarios and appear before the synopsis and scenario evaluation board. Students, who presented their project ideas in synopsis and scenario evaluation boards in the past months, improved their ideas according to the comments of the jury after the board.
The students, who developed and finalized their scripts in line with the comments of the jury, went to the last meeting of the semester and made their presentations in front of the jury consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltik, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Çipe, Lecturer Kerem Yükseloğlu, Res. Asst. Okan Kırbacı, Res. Asst. Eda Türkay.
Graduation Projects are on Set Process!
In his opening speech, Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Doğan stated that advancing the process step by step was very beneficial for the students and wished success to all the students. Stating that they have now reached the final stage, she stated that they need to start making preparations to go on set.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Rabiya Saltik emphasized that they should not forget to have a good preliminary preparation process before going on the set and that they should communicate one-on-one with their consultants during this process.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Çipe stated the importance of test shots, play and light rehearsals and stated that they should carry out the process meticulously in order to graduate by giving a good graduation project.
The jury members listened to the projects one by one and made their comments, giving their opinions to the students about the points they should pay attention to during the preliminary preparation and on the set.
