A Stakeholder Protocol Signed Between RTC and Cheyni!

Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema has signed an external stakeholder protocol with Cheyni, an innovative video streaming platform based on Web3 and artificial intelligence, in order to strengthen university–industry cooperation.

Within the scope of the protocol signed between the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema and Cheyni, it is aimed that students will be able to closely follow current developments in digital broadcasting and new media technologies, gain hands-on experience, and strengthen their sectoral connections. In addition, Cheyni’s “Web3 + AI-powered content creation tools” and its “Watch-to-Earn” ecosystem will be introduced to students as an alternative production and distribution model.

Thanks to this protocol, students of the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema will have the opportunity to actively participate in Cheyni’s content policies, creative community projects, and festival collaborations. At the same time, workshops, seminars, and internship opportunities to be carried out jointly with Cheyni aim to further develop students’ sectoral skills.

Chair of the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, Asst. Prof. Emre Doğan emphasized that this collaboration is an important step for students to improve themselves in the fields of “digital broadcasting and creative industries.”

Through this protocol, university–industry interaction will be strengthened, while students are expected to take their place in the media world of the future as more skilled and creative individuals. This collaboration also brings together the university’s practice- and research-oriented education vision with Cheyni’s innovative approach that supports creative communities. Thus, students will have the opportunity to graduate not only with academic knowledge but also with the creative and entrepreneurial skills required by the digital age.

We thank Cheyni for this collaboration.
