The Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) Department of Interior Architecture continues its activities to develop students' professional skills and artistic perspectives. As part of the Artistic Development Workshops held every Tuesday by the IGU Dean of Students, the "Architectural Floor Plan Coloring" workshop was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Minel Kurtuluş, a faculty member in the Interior Architecture Department. The event provided students with important information and practical applications on digitally coloring architectural plans.

The event, held on March 25, 2025, aimed to provide students with detailed information on floor plan coloring techniques, which play a crucial role in the visual presentation of architectural projects. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to practice coloring and visualizing architectural plans using Photoshop, a widely used program in the industry.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Minel Kurtuluş explained the intricacies of creating effective and aesthetic floor plans using basic Photoshop tools such as color selection, layering, texture addition, and scaling. Through their own projects, students gained practical skills to make their architectural plans more understandable and appealing.

The event not only enhanced the students' technical knowledge and skills, but also helped them add an artistic dimension to their designs. These workshops, which foster students' creativity, are considered a significant learning opportunity that will enable them to make a difference in their professional lives after graduation.
