The "Future Skills" project, conducted by Istanbul Gelişim University's Faculty of Fine Arts, continued with its second event on March 6, 2025. A talk titled "Learning with Curiosity: How Can We Learn More Effectively?", given by Lecturer Minel Kurtuluş, raised students' awareness of improving learning techniques and making knowledge more permanent.
The event took place in Block J, Classroom 206, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and an interactive discussion environment was created, particularly with the participation of graduation project students.
The Future of Learning and Permanent Knowledge
The talk addressed how to make learning processes more efficient, permanent learning strategies, and technology-based learning approaches. Discussions also focused on how this knowledge can be applied to the architectural profession.
Lecturer Minel Kurtuluş emphasized the critical role curiosity plays in learning and explained what techniques students can use to increase their learning motivation. The contributions of digital tools and artificial intelligence-assisted learning systems to education were also discussed.
Students had the opportunity to experiment with new approaches that could make their learning more effective and to discuss how they could use these methods for their own academic and professional development.
