The 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Interior Architecture Department Meeting Took Place! News Summary: Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Interior Architecture Department held a strategic evaluation meeting to make a strong start to the 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester.


Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Interior Architecture Department added another to its periodic coordination meetings in line with its vision of raising the bar of academic achievement and managing quality processes in education. The 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Department Meeting was held on Thursday, February 5th, at 2:00 PM in the Interior Architecture Department Faculty Members' Room on the 12th floor of Block K, with a large attendance.
The meeting, chaired by the Head of the Interior Architecture Department, Asst. Prof. Kadir Öz, brought together the entire academic staff of the department. Öz gave the opening speech of the meeting. Öz outlined a general framework for the academic calendar and goals of the new semester. The main agenda items of the meeting were as follows:
The meeting, which evaluated the projects planned to be carried out in the department during the spring semester, the processes of project courses, academic advising hours, deficiencies in classrooms, and the work to be carried out, drew attention to the processes that should be considered in the new semester. Then, the questions and opinions of the faculty members who attended the meeting were taken.
In the meeting, where all academic staff shared their views and suggestions, a participatory management approach was demonstrated. After the questions and solution suggestions of the faculty members, the meeting ended with good wishes and hopes for the new semester.
It once again demonstrated the Interior Architecture Department's commitment to continuously improving the quality of education it offers to its students and to creating a dynamic academic structure integrated with the sector.
