İbrahim Erol participated in the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair, UNICERA, together with the students of Interior Architecture.

The International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair UNICERA, Turkey's largest and the world's second largest specialized fair, was held between 7-11 November with the intense interest of domestic and foreign industry professionals. The new products and services of more than 1,200 brands belonging to the leading companies of the ceramic industry were exhibited at the fair. Hosting the most innovative products, designs, materials and technologies of the industry, the fair hosted 300 companies, 30 of which were foreign. Lecturer İbrahim Erol, Deputy Head of Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), and students of Interior Architecture, on 11 November, International Fairs Inc. and TG Expo International Fairs Inc. Organized by the Turkish Ceramics Federation (TSF) and the Association of Plumbing and Construction Material Manufacturers (TİMDER), the International Ceramic Bathroom Kitchen Fair, visited UNICERA.

The students, who were very excited to be informed about all the innovations and trends in the sector, followed the fair with interest. Having the chance to see the new products, designs and applications in the sector first hand, the students asked questions and exchanged ideas with company representatives.

“Very Valuable Information Exchanges Made”

Stating that there are very useful contents for students and professionals, Lecturer İbrahim Erol said, “Our students had the opportunity to have detailed information about ceramics, kitchen and sanitary ware products at the fair.” He underlined the importance of the fair. Stating that the students gained practical knowledge by meeting with the technical teams of the companies, Erol said, “Now, I can say that the students have become more of a focus for companies in such fairs and a very valuable exchange of information has taken place.” He emphasized that such activities are also important for students and that it is important to be close to the sector experience from the education period. Expressing that he expects students to participate, Erol said, “I think all our students should not miss such events.”
