Interior Architecture And Environmental Design (English)

The Summer Internship Process in the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Program Goes Digital!

As of the summer term of 2025, the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Program at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), has transitioned its internship process entirely to a digital platform. Students will now complete all application procedures and internship logbook submissions online through the OBIS system.

How the Digital Internship Process Works

Application: Students begin the process by uploading all required internship application documents to OBIS.

Logbook Preparation: Logbooks must be prepared digitally and uploaded in PDF format. Handwritten or scanned documents will not be accepted.

Daily Reporting: For each internship day, at least one paragraph must be written. The language should be academic, use passive voice, and avoid personal expressions.

Visual Support: Work completed must be documented with visuals (photos, sketches, screenshots) inserted immediately after the daily report.

Submission and Monitoring

Once the internship is completed, all documents must be combined into a single PDF file and uploaded to OBIS. Physical submission, printing, or binding is not required. Files with missing or incorrect documents will not be evaluated. Students can track the progress of their applications and submissions via the “Application Status” tab in OBIS.
