In this phase, volunteer students contributed to the project by narrating selected books. Prior to the recording process, a series of meetings were held on January 7 and 16, where key points about the voice-over process were reiterated. Students received guidance on using proper narration techniques in a quiet environment, essential considerations for the recording process, and selecting suitable equipment. Additionally, to address potential concerns during the process, students were given the option to submit demo recordings and receive feedback.
Academic support for the project was provided by Research Assistant Okan Kırbacı from the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, as well as Research Assistants Mustafa Dallı and Tuğçe Öztürk Dallı from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English Program). The volunteer students who participated in the narration process were Fatma Nur Gözübenli, Rümeysa Çelik, Feymenur Yılmaz, Yaren Safa, İlayda Sağlam, Binnur Süreyya Bostan, Abdülsamet Çil, Hamid Shaaf, and Tuba Yavuz. These students selected books from a list prepared by project coordinators and completed their recordings according to the event schedule.
Aiming to facilitate access to information for visually impaired individuals, this meaningful project also played a crucial role in enhancing students' social responsibility awareness. The project team intends to expand its scope in the future, making more audiobooks accessible to a wider audience.
