The program, initiated by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), coordinated by Marmara University Institute of Population and Social Research, and supported by leading research universities in Türkiye such as METU, ITU, and Boğaziçi University, aims to create an interdisciplinary learning ecosystem by integrating data analysis, statistics, and artificial intelligence with the social sciences. The program is structured around themes such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Analysis, Digital Humanities, and Data Visualization. Academics selected from various universities across Türkiye participate in a comprehensive training process focusing on data-driven research methods, ethical principles, digital transformation, and the development of the information ecosystem. As the first initiative of its kind, the Data Analysis School stands out as a pioneering program designed to promote data-oriented thinking and AI literacy within the fields of social sciences and design.
