The training program, launched to enhance students' technological competencies and ensure their adaptation to digital transformation, continues via online platforms. Designed as a series that requires no prior knowledge, it aims to provide the necessary infrastructure for foundational learning, inquiry, and advanced research.
High Participation in Initial Sessions
The training marathon began on January 18th with the "Python 101" course, led by instructor Birkan Çanakçıoğlu. Following their introduction to the world of software, participants learned the intricacies of managing AI models in the "Prompt Engineering 101" training provided by Artun Şeker on January 30th. Positive feedback from both instructors and students regarding both sessions demonstrated that the process was interactive and highly productive.
The Training Marathon Continues in February
The second half of the series will be completed in the coming days with presentations by experts in their respective fields. According to the planned schedule, the training program will proceed as follows:
February 2, 2026 – 20:00: The "AI 101" session will be held with Sinem Parsadan. This course will examine the basic working principles and current application areas of artificial intelligence.
February 6, 2026 – 20:00: The series finale will take place with the "Data Science 101" training given by Gamze Akman Acar. Participants will discover how raw data is transformed into meaningful information.
Our Goal is to Build a Solid Foundation
In a statement from the club management, it was noted that the trainings were structured to teach the subjects from the ground up using correct terminology, without overwhelming participants with advanced technical details. It was emphasized that this series, which transforms the mid-term break into an academic development opportunity, will enable students to conduct AI-supported research within their own disciplines.
By the end of the trainings, participants will be equipped with the knowledge necessary to progress to the next level in their respective fields.
