There are some points that our students who carry out their summer internships in the 2023-2024 academic year should pay attention to when filling out their internship notebooks.

POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN FILLING THE INTERNSHIP NOTEBOOK

  • First of all, you can download the internship book from this link. When you click on the link, click on the "Compulsory Summer Internship Notebook" section.
  • When filling out the internship notebook, use a blue ballpoint pen or fill it out on a computer.
  • When filling out the information on the first page of the student internship file, you should write the class in which you are doing your internship in the summer term. The address and contact information of the workplace must be complete.
  • The name, surname, position, date, signature and stamp information in the "approved document" section on the "registry slip" page must be filled in by the internship site official.
  • When filling out the "Registry slip" page, check the 1st Group Internship box if you are doing your first internship, and the 2nd Group Internship box if you are doing your second internship.
  • When filling out the "Intern Student Attendance Tracking Chart" page, exclude public holidays and Sundays. Fill in the days completely. Do not write down the days and make corrections. If you make a mistake, fill in the page from the beginning. There must be a wet signature and stamp at the bottom of the page. The pages of the notebook you fill in daily must be the same as the dates on the tracking chart on the last page.
  • Internship notebook deliveries will be made by hand, and the student must sign the 'Summer Internship Notebook Delivery Report' indicating that it has been delivered.
  • There must be the signature and stamp of the internship site official or kitchen chef on each page of the internship notebook.
  • Working day pages for public holidays and Sundays should not be filled out.
  • When filling out the working days, every job you do must be written down in detail, such as a diary. Short filled pages consisting of a few sentences will not be accepted and you will be asked to fill them out again.
  • Do not fill out the internship notebook as a recipe notebook. Do not add recipes to every page. You can add several recipes. You can add photos.
  • You can write the working topic in whichever kitchen you work in (For example; hot kitchen, patisserie, à la carte, show kitchen, etc.).
  • When submitting, print out in a transparent folder or spiral notebook.
  • Internship notebook submissions must be made to Res. Asst. Emel Çirişoğlu or Res. Asst. Ayşe Seray Çetin, one of the faculty members of the department. (Do not put notebooks to the desk, anywhere else, or to any professor other than department professors).
  • Submit your internship notebook within 1 month after your internship ends (all notebooks must be submitted before the start of the new semester).

NOTE: The student is responsible if the internship notebooks left without signature are lost.
