 A new success from Assoc. Prof. Murat Doğan!


Assoc. Prof. Murat Doğan, Vice Dean of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) and academic staff of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, has added another success to his academic achievements. According to the data of Istanbul Gelişim University Institutional Open Access Archive, Assoc. Prof. Murat Doğan rose to 2nd place with a total of 204 publications.


Assoc. Prof. Murat Doğan, Vice Dean of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) and academic staff of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, has once again stood out in the university community with his academic productivity. Doğan, who has made a name for himself with his scientific studies on both national and international platforms, rose to 2nd place in the list of academics with the most publications by reaching a total of 204 academic publications according to the current data in Istanbul Gelişim University Institutional Open Access Archive.

With the update made to the institutional database, Assoc. Prof. Festus Victor Bekun is at the top with 228 publications, while Asst. Prof. Andrew Adewale Alola is in third place with 144 publications. This data once again reveals how dynamic and productive Istanbul Gelişim University is in terms of academic production.

Assoc. Prof. Murat Doğan's studies are not only remarkable in terms of quantity, but also quality. Numerous scientific publications, international congress presentations, book chapters and project studies covering different areas such as gastronomy, food science, sustainable nutrition, cultural cuisines, innovative culinary applications and digitalization in gastronomy reveal his academic diversity and versatility.
