The last session of the "Love Movement with IGU", which is the social responsibility project of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, was held.
The "Film Screening" event was held within the scope of the social responsibility project jointly carried out by Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (FAF), Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts and Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. The film screening, which was the third and last event of the "Love Movement Project with IGU", was held on Tuesday, October 24, at 13.00, at IGU Pocket Cinema. The film screening, attended mainly by first-year students, was held with a total of thirty-five students.
Research Assistants from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts attended the film screening of the social responsibility project carried out jointly by the two departments. Res. Asst. Emel Çirişoğlu and Res. Asst. Ayşe Seray Çetin participated, From the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. Res. Asst. Eda Çekemci participated. The movie "Secondhand Lion" was shown at the screening, in line with the theme of the social responsibility project. Like the other sessions of the project, the last session also aimed to raise students' awareness.
Before the movie screening, Res. Asst. Emel Çirişoğlu gave information to the participating students about the purpose and theme of the project and that the first two sessions were held in Darülaceze. In this context, Çirişoğlu made a short speech about the suitability of the selected film with the project and wished for a good time for the film screening. Then, tea, coffee, and cookies were offered to the students and the movie screening started.
