An orientation meeting was held with the students of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), the Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Gastronomy, and the Culinary Arts Department. All department students, mainly second-year students, attended the meeting. The main purpose of the meeting; informing students, explain the hierarchy within the faculty, and listen to student demands. It was held at the Faculty of Fine Arts, E Blok, TUSI Conference Hall. Reminding the hierarchical system in the faculty, requests, and complaints about the courses should be conveyed primarily to the lecturer who teaches the course, and then to the department chair.
After the reminders and briefings, the students were given the right to speak and their demands were heard.
The orientation meeting ended after student requests and demands were evaluated.
