Orientation meeting was held in Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department.


An orientation meeting was held with the students of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), the Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Gastronomy, and the Culinary Arts Department. All department students, mainly second-year students, attended the meeting. The main purpose of the meeting; informing students, explain the hierarchy within the faculty, and listen to student demands. It was held at the Faculty of Fine Arts, E Blok, TUSI Conference Hall. Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department  In the meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Aslı Albayrak, Res. Asst. Ayşe Seray Çetin and Res. Asst. Emel Çirişoğlu also took part.
 
Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Prof. Dr. Aslı Albayrak primarily advised the department students on the following topics:
 
The department website contains all the necessary information about the consultancy list, curriculum, regulations, internship,
To receive any requests, complaints, and information, they should contact the advisor of the class they are in by the student advisor list on the department website,
Again, the regulations on the website should be read.
It is necessary to contact the internship coordinator for questions and problems regarding the internship,
Reminding the hierarchical system in the faculty, requests, and complaints about the courses should be conveyed primarily to the lecturer who teaches the course, and then to the department chair.
After the reminders and briefings, the students were given the right to speak and their demands were heard.
 
The orientation meeting ended after student requests and demands were evaluated.
