2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Term Faculty of Fine Arts Promotion Meeting was held with the participation of Faculty of Fine Arts Dean Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, Deputy Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Murat Doğan, Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Prof. Dr. Aslı Albayrak, Head of Graphic Design Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Kuş, Interior Architecture, Interior Architecture and With the participation of Environmental Design and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (English) Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Funda Ürük, Head of Communication and Design Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Aslı Kasar, Head of Radio, Television and Cinema Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Önder Paker and all academic staff on 20 June 2022 at 10:00 in Firnas Autorium.
At the introductory meeting, which was held with the presentation of Res. Asst. Tuğçe Öztürk, Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin first took the floor. Talking about the projects he plans on behalf of our university and faculty, Şahin expressed that he wants to upgrade Istanbul Gelişim University with all its faculties. Since it plans to invest in the application areas of Social Sciences under the umbrella of "Sosyopark", as a formation very similar to "Technopark" in the long term, so that the Faculty of Fine Arts will rise much higher than its current position, as an institution with qualified and equipped academicians, it will be successful in the field of Social Sciences. He mentioned that we will sign the works.
After our Honorable Rector got off the stage, first of all, the short film Lecturer Kerem Yükseloğlu prepared for our faculty and the video prepared by Res. Asst. Eda Çekemci for our faculty were screened.
Our Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, who was invited to the stage after the screenings, presented his congratulations to our newly appointed Rector, Mr. Prof. Dr. Bahri Şahin, and went on to the faculty presentation. Aydınalp, who evaluated the situation with tables containing past and current information about the faculty, talked about the achievements of our faculty in the past year.
Prof. Dr. Şükran Güzin Ilıcak Aydınalp, who thanked all the participants and our Rector for their participation in the introductory meeting, which lasted about two hours, ended the meeting.
