The Erasmus+ Program offers students the opportunity to explore different cultures, discover new perspectives, learn a foreign language, strengthen their CV, gain international vision, and make friends from different cultures. It is a program that contributes to both their education and business life and their personal development.

Students can benefit from the Erasmus+ Program as a study and internship mobility.

Study mobility involves a student registered to a higher education institution completing one or at most two semesters of their education at a higher education institution abroad that has an ECHE through a bilateral agreement. The activity period covers a period of minimum 2 to maximum 12 months that can be completed within the same academic year.

Internship mobility can be defined as the process of students receiving vocational training or gaining work experience within a partner business or organization in another country. All students have the opportunity to benefit from Erasmus+ Internship Mobility. Students who benefit from Internship Mobility have the right to do an internship for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months. Students can carry out their internship mobility in a way that does not coincide with their academic terms.

While the application conditions for both programs may vary depending on the relevant years, the general conditions are as follows.

For Study Mobility:

• General grade point average (GPA) must be at least 2.20/4.00.
• Students who are Formal Education students at Istanbul Gelişim University and are at least in the first year can apply for study or internship mobility. Students registered in the Double Major Program have the right to apply from only one Major.
• The student who will participate in the program must have 60 ECTS for one full academic year; It is expected to be sent to follow the program equivalent to 30 ECTS credits for one semester in a two-term academic year and 20 ECTS credits for one semester in a three-term academic year.

For Internship Mobility:

• Students must directly contact the institutions where they want to do their internship and apply by obtaining their signed and sealed acceptance letters between the dates announced to the International Exchange and Cooperation Coordination Office.
• If the student is entitled to participate in the Erasmus+ internship mobility, if the student does not have an acceptance letter at the time of application, the student is given a certain period of time to obtain an acceptance letter.
• Students in their final year can also do their internship within 12 months after graduation.
• Erasmus+ internship mobility applications are accepted for the following academic year.
• If the student does not have a document showing that they have received at least 60 points out of 100 from international language exams whose equivalence is accepted by YÖKDİL, YDS and ÖSYM, they must take the language exam to be organized for Erasmus+ students.
